Lights off for the Bogong Moths

Lights off for the Bogong Moths

The RMB are hosting an online webinar along with all other Victorian Alpine Resorts next Wednesday evening titled –“Lights off for the Bogong Moths”

We would love as many Mt Buller & Mt Stirling Community members to be a part of this activity.

The focus of the webinar is to further educate our alpine community about the importance of the Bogong Moths and their role in the conservation of the incredibly cute and endangered Mountain Pygmy Possum population. This all segues quite nicely as we also celebrate Biodiversity Month through September. https://www.environment.gov.au/biodiversity/biodiversity-month

The duration of the webinar should be around 20 minutes, and we have an amazing key note presenter in Marissa Parrott from Zoo’s Victoria.

We will be joined on the night with RMB and community members from our other alpine resorts of Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Baw Baw (Lake Mountain is TBC), plus there will be a short Q&A session at the end of the session where participants will be able to ask questions of our presenters and RMB Environmental Services Team.

We ask that all those who wish to participate to pre-register their interest, and they will then receive a secure link to the MS Teams platform on the night.

More information, and details as to how to register can be found on our RMB Facebook event page here:https://fb.me/e/Y1HSDCN2 please freely share this via social channels as you see fit.

You are also able to simply share the following link, taking anyone directly to the MS Teams registration portal:https://tinyurl.com/9jz7vvcw
